• Marriage License Preliminary Application This form is for your convenience.  You may complete the form ahead of time and bring it with you but you both must appear in person to apply.  Please bring your birth certificates (with raised seal); current identification (driver's license); original divorce documents (if applicable) and $45 cash or check.  The license is $40; the additional $5 provides you with ONE certified copy of your marriage certificate. (Normal cost is $10)

The Town of Spafford offices are part-time.

The office is open Tuesday through Thursday as well as Saturday mornings.   Please check below for specific department hours.  Not all Town officers have set office hours.  You are welcome to contact Town officials to arrange an appointment.

Speak at Meetings

Regular Board Meeting - The public has the right to attend and listen to the Board deliberations.  The public may participate only at the invitation of the Board.

Public Hearing - The public is invited to speak.  The Board is not obligated to answer questions or render a decision.

Public Information Meeting - A presentation is given to the public in order for the public to gain information on a specific project or topic.  Following the presentation, the public is given the opportunity to ask questions.  The presenter may discuss follow up-up action.

Motor Vehicle Operator   -   Part-Time Position

The Town of Spafford is seeking applicants for a part-time Motor Vehicle Operator. Two (2) years driving experience and CDL-B license are required. Highway experience helpful but not necessary. Must be able to drive standard shift.
